Cairo Opera House to Host Huge Group Exhibition as Part of 30th Anniversary Celebrations

'For the Love of Opera' will feature over 100 pieces from ten countries.

In celebration of its 31st anniversary, Cairo Opera House will is set to host a special exhibition bringing together artists from ten countries including Egypt, entitled ‘For the Love of Opera’.

Held at the Opera’s Salah Taher and Ziad Bakir Halls, the exhibition will be running from the 3rd till the 11th of October, featuring 100 works of different kinds.  The international artists involved come from the following countries: Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Algeria, Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, and Palestine.

The exhibition will also be accompanied by a symposium entitled ‘Art of Life’, hosted by journalist and art critic Kariman Harak, which will take place on October 8th at 6PM. It will be attended by psychiatrist and consultant Ahmed Abdullah, artist Taha Al-Qarni and will feature a Oud performance by Hani Jizawi.
