Chivas Spends Big at Cannes

Chivas Regal 25 is widely known for creating the kind of luxury moments that bring friends together. However, now they're also known for their love of the arts and all-round generosity after giving $100,000 to chairity as part of the Cannes Film Festival.

The move comes after Egypt's best-loved high end whiskey tipple teamed up with Hollywood hunk Edward Norton to donate the generous cash gift to FilmAid. FilmAid International is a non-profit humanitarian organisation that uses film to educate and entertain displaced people around the world. Of course this isn't the first time that Norton, 44, has made a big-hearted move. The hollywood hearthrob previously co-founded the charity crowdfunding site CrowdRise.com - which has already tallied more than $135 million in charitable donations since its launch.

The move came as Chivas Regal 25 partnered with the Filmmakers Dinner at Prestigious Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc during the 67th Cannes Film Festival. The star studded affair included the creme de la creme of high society celebrities including Naomi Watts, Rosario Dawson, Gemma Arerton and Harvey Weinstein among others.
