Egyptian Archeologists are Leading 50 Excavations Across the Country

Over the past few months, global publications have been scrambling to report on the incredible amount of archaeological discoveries being made in Egypt.

Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, revealed that the cause is 50 Egyptian excavations happening simultaneously across the country’s key archeological sites.

While Egypt had relied previously on predominantly foreign missions, the slow shift to dependence on our own resources has proven to be productive, according to the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
