The Egyptian Armed Forces established its first automated biobank at the Egypt Center for Research and Regenerative Medicine.
A biobank is a collection of human samples that are categorically organised for research purposes.
Created through a collaboration between Germany’s Askion and Egypt’s MiraLab, this project will help pen a genetic reference map that will track illnesses and find genetic components affecting susceptibility to certain diseases.
