New First Class Trains to Hit Cairo-Alexandria Line This November
The first-class cars will come decked out with personal screens, a luxurious buffet and fully-equipped bathrooms.

The dream of an elegant cross-country journey by train will soon come true with the operation of new first and second-class passenger cars on the Cairo-Alexandria line this November.
Built and operated by Spanish train manufacturing company Talgo, the Cairo-Alexandria line will be fully equipped with five first-class railcars, and eight second-class railcars, all of which will be fully air-conditioned. The first-class cars will come decked out with a personal screen for each of its passenger seats, as well as a luxurious buffet and fully-equipped bathrooms.
The new trains will also accommodate people with disabilities and will have affordable ticket prices.
