New Industrial Zone Will Connect 6th of October & Alexandria
The zone will be built near the 6th of October dry port, and will be directly connected to Alexandria’s port through railways.
An industrial zone is currently being established in the New 6th of October City. With an area of nearly five million square metres, the zone will boast industrial, logistical, commercial, administrative, and service facilities near the 6th of October dry port, and will be directly connected to Alexandria’s port through railways.
The project is a cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Housing, which will allocate the land over two phases, the second of which will only be given upon the completion of the first phase.
Numerous plants and factories will operate in the new industrial zone, providing job opportunities for thousands of citizens.
