Newlyweds in Abu Dhabi Now Eligible for AED 75,000 in Rent Support
The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority’s initiative is being implemented under the Emirati Family Growth Support Programme.
The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority announced that families in Abu Dhabi will be able to access housing support through partial loan reduction, annual financial assistance for newlyweds, and extensions of loan repayment.
The initiative is being implemented under the Emirati Family Growth Support Programme, and will be accessible to eligible families through the Medeem Digital Platform with applications starting from September 2024.
Under this same initiative, newlyweds in Abu Dhabi will be eligible to receive AED 75,000 annually for two years after marriage to support the rental capabilities of newlyweds. To qualify for the support, citizens must have a monthly income of less than AED 50,000, not own any real estate, and have submitted an application for permanent housing benefits.
