Egypt's Ministry of Education is establishing nine new public schools with an international curriculum. Application to said schools is now open, giving the chance for Egyptian parents to enroll their children to get international certificates for reasonable tuition fees.

The nine schools will be offering the International Baccalaureate diploma (IB), American diploma, and International General Certificate (IG).

The schools will be located in Cairo's Fifth Settlement, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, New Sohag City, Minya, Alexandria, and Sharqia.

Parents have already begun enrolling their students in these schools, and the admission results will be announced on October 8. The school year, as reported by Egypt Today, will begin by the end this month..

The Ministry of Education reportedly stated that the teaching staff will be compromised by teachers from the IB school at Sheikh Zayed.

Egypt's Ministry of Education has recently provided schools with 100,000 tablets, and will be delivering a total of 700,000 tablets by the end of October.
