Tourism Into Egypt Rose by 27% in First Third of 2024
The number of tourists from Arab countries rose by 54% compared to the same period last year.

The first third of 2024 has seen an increase of 27% in the number of tourists visiting Egypt. Many of these visitors came from neighbouring Arab countries; the number of tourists from Arab countries rose by 54% compared to the same period last year.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has been promoting a number of schemes to encourage tourism into the country, including streamlining visa services and targeting new markets such as India, Turkey and Australia.
