Cairo Runners Hit the Nile for Final Run of the Season

Cairo Runners have had a busy season filled with planned runs all over Cairo. With each passing event comes with a legion of new comers and veterans with one thing in common; the love of running. In order to wrap the season up in style, the Cairo Runners are planning their final run along the iconic and beautiful Nile this Friday.

Meeting at Le Pacha 1901 boat in Zamalek on the Nile at 7am on Friday February 27^th, the Cairo Runners are planning two runs; a 16km course for hardcore runners and a 9km run for amateurs and beginners. With a course set alongside the Nile, this morning run is sure to be memorable as there is nothing quite as refreshing as this scenic route.

The weather for Friday is expected to be sunny, making it ideal for the perfect morning run. According to their Facebook event a map of the course will be released tomorrow to get you pumped for that last run of the season, and inspire you to keep up with training for the always massive annual half marathon later this year.
