Germany Removes Egypt From List of Nations With High Risk of COVID-19
The decision means that from now on, vaccinated travellers flying into Germany from Egypt are subject to fewer entry restrictions.

Germany has removed a a number of countries from their ‘high risk of COVID-19’ list for travellers, which previously included Egypt.
The Egyptian Chamber of Tourism has released a formal statement relaying travel restriction updates from the German Rober Koch Institute, alongside a joint assessment between the German Federal Ministry of Health and the Foreign Office.
The institute's previous modification to travel restrictions took place November 2021, and saw no changes regarding travelling Egyptians. All Egyptian travellers who were at least 12 years and flying into Germany were obliged to register at einreiseanmeldung.de and then carry the confirmation of registration with them upon landing.
The decision means that from now on, vaccinated travellers flying into Germany from Egypt are subject to fewer entry restrictions. They will no longer have to register before traveling to Germany or quarantine upon arrival.
