An Epic Library of Egyptology is Being Curated at the Egyptian Museum

Having been home to the biggest collection of pharaonic antiquities for decades, the Egyptian Museum’s library is set to become the site of the most renowned Egyptology books and journal collections.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is developing a massive library for Egyptology at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the oldest archaeological museum in the MENA region. Having been home to the biggest collection of pharaonic antiquities for decades, the Egyptian Museum’s library is set to become the site of the most renowned Egyptology books and journal collections around.

The project will also see the creation with space for reading specifically for scholars and senior citizens visiting the museum.

The Grand Egyptian Museum by the Pyramids of Giza will also receive a number of important books and journals, making them more accessible to researchers and historians of Egyptology.
