EGP 520 Million Allocated to Build 3,000 Schools & Nurseries in Egypt

The Ministry of Education has allocated EGP 520 million to constructing 3,000 schools and nurseries across Egypt. The project is part of the Ministry of Education’s plans to support children by giving them greater access to education and a more solid educational infrastructure.

The budget will also go towards renovating 23 children’s cultural centres developed by the Ministry of Planning. The project is expected to supplement the various governmental services targeting children, including hotlines to ensure their safety in case of emergency and laws criminalizing and limiting child labour.
