Egypt to Receive 8 Million COVID-19 Vaccines by First Quarter of 2021
Egypt is expected to receive up to 8 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from GAVI, a health partnership between world governments and organisations, by the first quarter of 2021.

A spokesman for the Council of Minister has confirmed that the Egyptian government is awaiting somewhere between 5 to 8 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from GAVI, aka the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation, by the first quarter of 2021. These doses will arrive starting from the middle of February.
GAVI is a health partnership between world governments and organisations like WHO, UNICEF and the World Bank to ensure that vaccines will be able to reach all corners of the Earth, even to the most vulnerable populations.
