Following a 24-hour health deterioration, one of Egypt's rising local fashion designers has passed away.

According to Sada El Balad News, Egyptian fashion designer Amr Fouad died on Saturday September 24th.

The designer's atelier, which was established in 2014 in Dokki, recently found success in the fashion world. He was praised by many as an upcoming designer, and his designs received acclaim and were due to expand.

His official websites states that his designs are inspired by his hometown, Alexandria, where he was born and raised, and its cultural grace and elegance. It is with great mourning we pass the news of his death, but hope his designs are left as a legacy for inspiring Egyptian-themed ingenuity to live on in the country's rapidly growing fashion scene.
