Maktoub: The Biggest Set They've Ever Played
A night of Oriental Jazz is just what the Cairo Jazz Club doctors have ordered.
For the first time ever, Maktoub will ignite the Cairo Jazz stage on Sunday, November 29th. In the short time since their formation in May 2013, the band has made a name for itself all over Cairo. It won't be until this coming Sunday, however, that they will play Cairo's most prestigious stage, joining ranks with some of the best and biggest artists ever to grace this city.
It is hardly surprising Maktoub have finally piqued CJC's interests. Their Oriental Jazz sound has taken over Cairo and established Maktoub as a heavy weight in the early independent music scene. Although relatively fresh to the scene, their popularity makes this one of the most anticipated performances of the month at Cairo Jazz Club.
This will undoubtedly be a milestone in the rising band's history and will therefore be an outstanding night of music and atmosphere. Join the band in their excitement for one of their biggest sets ever played this Sunday.
