Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports soared to SAR 233 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, marking a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This surge sets a new record as the highest import level since data collection began in 2017.
According to the General Authority for Statistics, imports also rose by SAR 12 billion (5%) from the previous quarter, reflecting sustained economic expansion and rising demand across various sectors.
