Why Don't Egyptians Tell People Their Mothers' Names?

Who I Follow: Ahmad Abi

Who do the people with followers follow? In this series of features we unearth the Insta-inspirations of Egypt's leading social media influencers, kicking off with the colourful @Ahmad_Abi...

If a Piet Mondrian painting mated with The Rugrats you would get Ahmad Abi's Instagram account. A stunning, mesmerising playground of symmetry and child-like excitement, Abi is one of the few Egyptians to actually be featured by Instagram himself, coming into prominence in the social media world with his #StuffedHair series of photos. Give the man a few primary colours and a rubber ducky and he'll create worlds of wonder in 612 by 612 pixels. We ask the photographer, art director and physician to let us in on the accounts he follows for some Insta-inspiration... (Follow @Ahmad_Abi here)
